Why hire a Certified Arborist?

An understanding of tree biology is the basis for proper tree care. Certified Arborists have achieved a level of knowledge in the art and science of tree care to determine the type of pruning necessary to improve the health, appearance, and safety of your trees.

What time of year should my tree be pruned?

Dead branches can be removed from trees any time of year. However, it is best to avoid removing live material from mature trees during frost/thaw cycles as this can lead to frost cracking.

Will you top my tree?

No! Tree topping in no longer an accepted industry practice. Alternatives to topping include subordination of competing tops and tree removal.

Do you work outside of Missoula?

Due to our work volume and small crew we only work within the City of Missoula.
